Reading Price Action Like a Story

By Sriram · Jul 28, 2026 · 8 min read

A single candle means little in isolation. Start with the higher timeframe: are we in a trend, a range, or a transition? Then zoom in for timing — not for inventing a new bias.

Look for locations where the story has to resolve: prior day highs/lows, session opens, and obvious liquidity pools. Entries without location are guesses.

Practice by narrating charts out loud before you click. If you cannot explain the story in one sentence, you are not ready to risk capital.
